Mark is currently a member of ASIS’ Global Board of Directors and Chair of ASIS International’s North American Regional Board of Directors. Advancing security worldwide, ASIS is the world’s largest association for security professionals with 243 chapters around the globe serving as a leading resource for education, outreach, and suggested practices across all service areas.

Active in the organization since 2010, Mark’s previous positions held include Vice Chair of the North American Regional Board of Directors, Subject Area Community VP, and Senior Regional VP Canada.

ROBOTIC ASSISTANCE DEVICES (RAD)

Since 2022, Mark has served as President of RAD, an award-winning innovator of artificial intelligence and game-changing robotic solutions. Trusted by Fortune 500 clients and organizations across a wide array of industries, RAD’s ground breaking devices streamline operations and enhance security by taking immediate action on their own to swiftly address potential threats and ensure round-the-clock protection for properties without relying on human intervention. Mark oversees RAD’s global manufacturing, operations, sales, business development, and administrative groups while leading outreach as an industry spokesman. He previously held the roles of COO and VP of Security and Industry after joining the company in mid 2020.

TRACKTIK

For four years, Mark excelled as VP Security for TrackTik, a security workforce management software company that integrates on-site, mobile, and back-office functions to secure more than 210,000 facilities in over 35 countries.  Leading business growth, market penetration, and customer operations in North America and Europe, Mark helped grow the company from 27 employees to more than 170, launched an influencer program which propelled strategic growth, and served as the company’s primary spokesperson in the security industry and subject matter expert for content marketing and thought leadership.

BELL

With more than 52,000 employees, Bell is one of Canada’s largest corporations and a provider of broadband communications and content services to government, business, and residential customers. As Senior Manager, Corporate Security, Mark established and led a comprehensive Executive Security Services program to protect and safeguard the corporation’s assets globally and mitigate security risks for high profile groups within the wider corporation, including c-suite executives, officers, and Bell Media talent. He oversaw daily operations and implemented best practice security policies across all BCE and Bell divisions in Canada.

FOLMSECUR

Mark’s consulting company, FOLMSECUR, provided physical security advisory services to clients in corporate, private and government sectors, including telecommunications, infrastructure, oil & gas, and event production companies. Optimizing internal security operations and programs, Mark helped ensure the safety of business assets and employees with a focus on security plan and protocol development, threat risk assessment, multi-location security systems, and corporate event planning for 300+ participants.

Mark also held Vice President positions at the Canadian Bureau of Investigations and Adjustments (CBIA), TSM, and Pinkerton, as well as leadership roles at Intercon and Securitas.  He currently resides with his family in Montreal where he earned his BComm from Concordia University and formerly taught Security and Police Studies part-time at the Université de Montréal.
