Going Places

Good things come to an end!
After nearly 6 years with hashtag#TeamRAD I have decided that the time has come to leave Robotic Assistance Devices.
The last few years have been an important and memorable chapter of my security industry career. I make this choice with a real sense of accomplishment, gratitude, pride, appreciation and perspective.

Why Now? When I took on this role, there were clear objectives – growth, structure, change, innovation, service to name a few. I wanted to learn, to contribute, to help grow the business, to help strengthen its position, to support its evolution, and to contribute in a meaningful way to a company that was pushing boundaries in the security industry.

People First! What a ride! Sharing crazy appreciation that I have for having worked with an amazing team led by, the always innovating, mission focused, Steve Reinharz. Thanks SR for the leadership, the vision and the friendship.

I will avoid the temptation to name everyone that impacted me as we navigated through the priorities together – because the list would include a long list of dedicated members. I do feel the need to mention those that I worked with the most and the longest: Troy, Tony T, Lauren, KT, Mr. Best, Luke, Mr. Pop, Jeremy L, & JC. JB (it was relatively short but impactful!). You are ALL Rockstars in your own way. Your collective effort, belief, creativity, and perseverance made the journey an enriching one.

Teamwork:  Thank you to clients, partners, dealers, contributors, advisors for your trust and commitment to change. Together with the amazing talent at RAD you will continue to make a significant impact on the security industry. For me, being part of conversations around innovation, transformation, and real-world security challenges was a meaningful part of this role and one I valued deeply.

This experience pushed me to grow as a leader. It reinforced for me that leadership is not just about direction; it is about consistency, trust, adaptability, accountability, and showing up for people through both progress and pressure. The sheer power of innovation is intoxicating.

While my RAD chapter is closing, the RAD mission continues – go get em!

What’s Next for MJF? Well … the short answer is TBD …  it will be in the hashtag#securityindustry … it will involve innovation … technology … and awesome people.
